Culture Puzzle – 2016
With the desire to help spread the quintessence and culture of the national tradition, Hanoikids successfully organized Culture Puzzle events with diverse themes such as Tet Han Thuc (Cold Foods Festival), To he (Toy figurine), Trau cau (Betel and areca), Lì Xì (Lucky money), etc. …Hanoikids’ cultural events provided young people with the chance to connect with international tourists, practice English, and enjoy the beauty of folklore and Vietnamese food in a unique and entertaining way. Because of such meaningful activities, besides leading tours for international guests, the club has received attention from many domestic and international media.
Appearance on national television – 2017
After more than ten years of operation, Hanoikids has always been constantly cultivating and developing, becoming one of the voluntary English tour-guiding clubs trusted and chosen by many tourists.
We had the opportunity to appear on domestic and international TV channels (VTV6, CNN,…). And in 2017, Hanoikids was very proud to be mentioned as “Capital tourism ambassadors” on ANTV, VTV4 and VTC10.
Cultural exchange between Hanoikids and Global Inner Peace Jeju Initiatives (2017-2019)
On July 22, 2017 and October 21, 2018, Hanoikids had a chance to meet and exchange cultures with Global Inner Peace Jeju Initiatives – a volunteer organization with a mission to preserve world peace and prosperity through local volunteer projects and environmental protection.
After visiting the Museum of Ethnology, the two organizations held an information session to assist them better understand each other. Hanoikids members discussed about Vietnam and Hanoi culture at the seminar, while the Jeju delegation also introduced everyone about Jeju Island and Korea to help Hanoikids members have a deeper understanding about Korean youth culture, as well as voluntary activities brought by GIP.
