Hanoikids’ Spring Recruitment 2014 has gone half way. More than 200 candidates passed Round1 (Application Form Screening) and were qualified for Round 2 (Test and Activities) held on March 23rd, 2014 at Quang Trung Secondary School.
Before Round 2, many questions relating to the test and activity format were sent to Hanoikids via Facebook and email channels. Round 2 includes two parts: Test and Activities. The first part requires all candidates to take a 25-minute test with questions involving history, culture and society of Vietnam and the world. The latter is games and team-work activity.
Due to a huge number of candidates, the Round 2 was divided into two shifts: morning and afternoon. The candidates were required to present at either 7:30 am or 1:30 pm for check-in. Although the cold and rainy weather did not seem to support our recruitment on the day of Round 2, many candidates showed up much earlier.
Candidates were led to different rooms by supporters – Hanoikids members, along with the organizers from the Internal Relations Department. These supporters’ mission was to observe and evaluate candidates’ capacity as well as their attitude. After the test, which was said by most of Hanoikids’ members to be much more difficult than that of the last season, our candidates had a great time participating in our interesting games and team-work activity? At the end of each shift, supporters would collect the evaluation sheets and decide which candidate was qualified for the last round (the Interview Round) based on their leadership potential, creativity, team-work ability, effectiveness v.v
Ultimately, Round 2 was successful in terms of the participation of many talented Kid-wanna-be and the friendliness and support from Kids as reviewed by candidates. However, we have to say goodbye to some candidates due to the elimination by half in this round and look forward to the promising Final round with more challenges for the candidates.
