On August 13rd 2012, Hanoikids had a special city tour with British teachers from BVIS school. The members in charge were Frankie, Sant, Amu and Gái Bản.
Despite the gloomy drizzle all day, the tour started as scheduled at 2pm in the Ly Thai To garden. After introducing ourselves, we took a closer look to the Ly Thai To’s statue which is to memorize the great contribution to the development of Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general.

Tour with Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs

The report from Gà Còi after the tour:
One of my most special tours is the tour with Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs Senator the Bob Carr and his wife Mrs. Helena Carr.
There is no word to describe my pleasure to be their travel-mate on this extraordinary occasion! I remember getting so very excited before the tour took place. Ms.

Tour with Mr. Evan Medeiros – Senior Director For Asian Affairs, National Security Council...

A sunny morning following a hard rainy night seemed to be the good start for our nice tour. It took a long time for Thuy and I to come back, so we were a little bit nervous.

Before the tour, Hanoikids' Tour Operation Department forwarded email from U.S. Embassy Hanoi to us and all the information we had was a tour with “a high-level visitor for the US Embassy”. It was just until this Friday could we know the name of our guest.

Capsule It Up Contest FR2014
Writer: Le Minh Trang - Group 1
“Empathy is not something that can be taught or forced on to a person. It is something that comes from the heart, and you delivered it to me.” Those were the words from my guest of my second trial tour, Mr. Liam (Billy) Fitzpatrick, who further on wrote in my ‘tour diary’ stating that I was a ‘super-guide!!’, before we parted ways.

Kids should learn about the life

It was an incredibly hot afternoon that I began my third quarter with my partner, Tom by welcoming a lovely Australian family coming from Sydney. Skipping other sites, we decided to visit Museum of Ethnology, where they foster greater understanding about Vietnamese people lives in different ethnic groups and areas, stretching from the North to the South.

Tour with Mr. Ron Kirk – the United States Trade Representative

Tour report from Kaze after the tour:
What did you choose to celebrate our National Independence Day? Lucky I was that I did not have to find the answer for this question because the chance of going on tour with Mr. Ron Kirk – the United States Trade Representative – was knocking my door just one day before the high time!
The scenery on that day was as similar as has been described in many poems or proses about our nation’s remarkable milestone on September 2nd, 1945.
