Hanoikids Boy's Day

Boy’s Day 2013

Despite my impending Finance exam, I took my time to participate in Boys’ Day of Hanoikids - a unique event that can be found almost nowhere.

Annually held on 6th April, this day is considered an occasion for Hanoikids girls to do something special toward the boy members. It is for this reason that I was so eager for the night, hopping straight to Hanoi Primary School (where the event took place) after the tour.

To my surprise, everything had been carefully prepared and scripted.

Treasure Hunting 5

The story started…
when a mysterious letter was sent to all of the “kids”, which
… was intentionally written on a badly-burn old piece of paper,
… claimed about something greatly precious hidden out there in Hoan Kiem district - the heart of Hanoi capital,
… and, as an obvious result, aroused the innate curiosity and interest of the “kids”.

Last Sunday January 20th 2013, around 60 “kids” enthusiastically joined the interesting “Treasure Hunting 5”, organised by Hanoikids’ Training department.

Hanoikids members visit Vietnam Friendship Village

As a very first event organized by External Relations (ER) department of Hanoikids in 2013, in January 26th, 2013, ‘Tet yeu thuong’ came with the participation of about 30 members of Hanoikids.

‘Tet yeu thuong’ is a charitable trip in which we went to Vietnam Friendship Village (VFV) to bring some fun and warmness to the unlucky children there when Tet holiday is coming.
If you haven’t known, VFV is a residential facility working for humanitarian and friendship cause with the support of Vietnam State, Vietnamese social and economic organizations, non-governmental organizations, the dedicated individuals and the veterans from

Reunion Day – Back To Home

Do you believe in Doomsday? Hanoikids does not. Because we made up a plan in advance for the night called “The reunion day” which took place on December 30th 2012.

“The reunion day” – the last event of Hanoikids in year 2012, is a fantastic chance for every kid to come back to our beloved family. Routinely held by Internal Relation Department (IR), it was a well-organized composition of music, comedies, dances, games, sharing and love in a cozy and delighted room at Hanoi Elementary School. “I didn’t think it was such a big room like this, I swear.

A Hanoikids member murdered

A Hanoikids member savagely murdered at school X. No evidence found on the scene. Everything hit an impasse. A series of paranormal consequence followed- windows rattle, light bulbs dangle, peculiar noises heard. Rumor has it the school was haunted. The curse will never be broken until the root of evil is revealed.

Come on, take it easy! Above is simply a plot constructed by IR Department to orient the Halloween party last Sunday, on 4th Nov.

An Extra Training with Hanoikids at Vietnamese Women’s Museum

On November 3rd, 2012, Hanoikids’ Training Department organized a training event for members of Hanoikids in Vietnamese Women’s Museum – an increasingly important site for our tours. Arriving at 8 am, we were really eager to know about this site, especially the newbies, they arrived soon, all prepared to take notes and some even brought records and cameras! We had a small chit-chat to warm up the atmosphere before really starting the training. It was also the time for the oldies to get acquainted with the newbies.

After that, we got inside the museum.

Breezy Summer!

As a farewell to the summer vacation and also a greeting to our new school semester, Hanoikids members warmly welcomed Breezy Summer, a Hanoikids’s self-performing music show organized by Internal Relations (IR) Department.

Starting at 7 p.m. 12/8/2012, the show included a competition among 10 registered-in-advance songs, a game with some funny songs and some sudden inspiration performances from the audiences. The main part of Breezy Summer was the competition among 10 stage shows, in which the audience would be the judges.
