By using the modern flycam technology, the architects of a group from Ashui.com has brought to the community a special gift on Hanoi’s 60th liberation anniversary.
That is a project called “Hanoi – View from the air” which aims to bring a fresh look of Hanoi and send a message of love and responsibility for Hanoi to the public.
A 10-minute video clip made by the members of the “Hanoi Fly” project has filmed the famous places in the capital. The scenes from the clip show an old-and-new Hanoi where the modern and traditional features have been mixed in the outstanding structures. Never before has the Hanoi people been pleasantly surprised at the images of familiar places such as the Old Quarter, the Sword Lake, the Temple of Literature and Ho Chi Minh Complex like those captured by the flycam. Totally, ten typical sites including some suburban attractions like the Bat Trang Pottery Village and the Duong Lam Ancient Village appeared in the clip under the bird’s eye view.
Through the clip, the project group also wants to show everyone that Hanoi is developing strongly but has brought about some negative consequences. For example, the fact that the area covered by tree has significantly decreased in the new urbanism or the structure of ancient buildings has changed over years.
In the near future, the group will recruit more Hanoi lovers to do much more meaningful activities for Hanoi.
